KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with a growing high-tech manufacturer in the Hanover, NH area with multiple U.S. locations is seeking a hands-on Accounting Manager to support its finance operations. This role offers the opportunity to step into a leadership track within a stable and collaborative environment while working directly with experienced financial executives and long-tenured support staff.

This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant or early-stage Accounting Manager looking to step up into broader responsibilities in a fast-moving, complex manufacturing environment. Candidates with a strong foundation in financial reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement will thrive in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly financial statements
• Oversee account reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger entries
• Support annual audit process and prepare documentation for external auditors
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Partner with the controller to improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Supervise and support junior accounting staff, including AP/AR
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses and support operational decision-making
• Participate in integration and system/process upgrades as needed
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA a plus)
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; manufacturing industry preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Proficiency in Excel; ERP experience, such as Oracle, SAP, Great Plains etc.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with high accuracy
• Must be comfortable with occasional travel between sites
