Protocol Support

Title:

KBR is seeking a Protocol Support Subject Matter Expert to provide Headquarters STARCOM with on-site support at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida.

A strong candidate has experience providing protocol support for a military Commander, Deputy Commander, Chief of Staff, and/or Senior Enlisted Member. In this position, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide protocol support in the planning and execution of events, meetings, visits, conferences, and ceremonies.
• Guide assigned action officers.
• Draft event books and review and finalize event scripts.
• Set up and prepare rooms, video conferences or teleconferences prior to meetings, events, visits, and conferences.
• Ensure precedential order for proper seat placement. Place flags. Set up water, tea, and coffee
• Create nametags, seating charts, parking signs, table setting name plates, for meetings and hosted events.
• Edit and update the weekly Director's meeting slides.
• Coordinate meeting reservations for conference rooms and make parking and equipment reservations.
• Monitor email workflow boxes / calendars and provide email responses.
• Travel may be required for limited durations to support Customer events.

Qualifications:

Required:

• An active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position, which is something only a U.S. citizen can obtain.
• 3 years of experience directly relating to the job responsibilities.
• Headquarters experience in the US Space Force, US Air Force, Combatant Command, Field Command, or equivalent
• Ability to multi-task and produce high-quality products in a high-tempo, collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Accustomed to professionally working with military senior leaders, offices, directorates, and action officers.

Desired:

• BA/BS degree.
• Experience with US Space Force missions.

• Location: On-site
• Travel Requirements: Minimal 0-20%
• Working Hours: Standard

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation.
