Program Summary
KBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site to include all logistics and maintenance operations. The KBR APS-3 Program is managed and executed at Goose Creek in support of the Army’s power projection doctrine and resources. The contract provides maintenance of APS-3 stocks (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) to ensure that unit sets are configured and maintained at optimal readiness. KBR also provides maintenance services and logistical support for other Army programs, IAW individual scope of work contract requirements.

KBR is seeking an experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Goose Creek, SC. This position develops, maintains, and optimizes our database systems. The position collaborates across KBR’s department managers and section supervisors, and the US Government (KBR’s customer). This role requires proficiency in PowerApps. Proficiency in Microsoft Access, SharePoint, Dataverse, Power Automate, and Excel is beneficial. This position reports to the Business Manager.

Roles And Responsibilities
PowerApps Development and Maintenance:
- Develop, manage, and optimize software applications using Power Apps and PowerBI.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues by performing root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Power Apps to streamline processes and improve productivity.
- Create, maintain, and update SharePoint lists to support business processes and data management.
- Maintain and manage tables within Microsoft Dataverse, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
- Conduct data transfers using queries to ensure accurate and efficient data migration and integration.
- Develop and maintain automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to optimize business processes.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain Excel spreadsheets, utilizing Power Query to manage and analyze data effectively.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on databases, processes, and procedures using OneNote.
- Proficiency in PowerApps is required. Certifications and past work experience demonstrate proficiency. - Proficiency in Microsoft Access, SharePoint, Dataverse, PowerBI, Power Automate, and Excel is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of data management, database design, and data integrity principles.
- Possess skills necessary to collaborate with team: organized, team player, skilled communicator.
- Ability to problem solve and apply attention to detail.
- Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Common Access Card (CAC) issuance.
- Must be able to stand - between 1 to 2 hours per day.
- Must be able to walk - between 1 to 2 hours per day.
- Must be able to Lift - up to 10 lbs periodically.
- Must be able to occasionally work outside and in non-climate-controlled environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with Power Query and other data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with business process automation and workflow design.
- Knowledge of best practices for database security and performance optimization.
