KBR is seeking a highly motivated and Junior AI Engineer to join our Verification and Validation team. You will work on a broad range of projects, from initial development to deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Apply Verification and Validation Techniques:
- Develop and apply current verification and validation paradigms, including model testing, simulation, and formal methods, to ensure the accuracy and reliability of AI systems.
- Engage in every phase of the system development lifecycle, including requirements generation, system and software design, implementation, integration, and testing.
- Take ownership of critical tasks to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Participate in the development of proposals and whitepapers to secure funding for verification and validation projects.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy AI solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Engage with other teams to identify opportunities for verification and validation of AI systems.
Technical Skills:
- Strong background in software engineering, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
- Experience with current verification and validation paradigms, including model testing, simulation, and formal methods.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C .
- Strong background in signal processing theory and application (radar, communication, electronic warfare, sonar, audio, or biomedical).
- Self-motivation, strong work ethic, and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, electrical engineering, or mathematics.
- 3-5 years of experience in AI or a related field.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or other related discipline.
- Experience developing with machine learning frameworks (Pytorch, Tensorflow, MxNet, Caffe, Keras, etc.).
- Experience with Python and multiple libraries (NumPy, OpenCV, Scikit, Pandas, SciPy, etc.).
- Understanding of software engineering best practices.
- Must be a US Citizen
- TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a Poly
