What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biomanufacturing Associate position at KBMO Diagnostics?
KBMO Diagnostics is seeking a motivated biomanufacturing associate to assist in the production of ELISA kit components, including coated ELISA plates and reagents for use in the FIT Test by KBMO Diagnostics and associated CLIA certified laboratories.
Experience preferred, 1 years in a manufacturing environment
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing of plates, reagents, and buffers to be used by KBMO Diagnostics Clinical Laboratory and external laboratories
- Adherence to detailed SOPs to carry out production and testing protocols
- Maintenance of detailed batch records for all manufacturing processes
- Operation of automated/semi-automated equipment
- Monitor in-process materials for production consistency and quality
- Review and adherence to weekly/daily production schedule
- Comply with ISO 13485 standards and internal quality systems
- Maintain equipment including calibration, cleaning, inspection, and identification/troubleshooting of issues
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science-related discipline (biology, chemistry, etc.)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
Salary: Salary commensurate with experience. Plus medical insurance, 401(k) with company match. Paid time off 24 days/year.
Please note that this position is in-person (M-F) and may require 2-4 shifts per week from approximately 11AM - 7PM. Hours for all other shifts are flexible.
