Position Summary:
KBI Biopharma seeks a highly skilled, motivated analytical scientist to join our Characterization Services team in Louisville, CO. This role is ideal for an experienced scientist with expertise in protein analytics using LC-MS. You will serve as part of a collaborative team of scientists, performing analytical testing by various chromatographic techniques for proteins in early development through commercialization. This position requires a team player with a strong work ethic, ability to pivot with changing priorities, and curiosity and creativity to solve complex problems alongside peers.

For Scientist I:
BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering
For Scientist I: $85,000-$115,000
For Scientist II: $100,000-$125,000

Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate expertise in LC-MS, HPLC/UPLC, and other common analytical techniques
- Provide method development support in addition to adhering to established methods for client programs
- Execute analytical experiments in support of product development and regulatory submissions
- Generate high-quality documentation of experiments suitable for publication and regulatory review
- Perform peer reviews of data documented in ELNs and reports
- Glycan characterization experience is preferred but not required
For Scientist I:
BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering
- BS with 7 years of relevant experience
- MS with 5 years of relevant experience
- Ph.D. with relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in scientific software and data analysis tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
For Scientist I: $85,000-$115,000
For Scientist II: $100,000-$125,000
