Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to join the Nuclear or Engineering Projects team. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing detailed project schedules for online, outage, and life-cycle projects, including Enterprise Risk projects. The position involves resolving scheduling conflicts, developing out-year schedules, and ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive schedules for project activities. The Senior Project Scheduler will assist multiple project managers, interface with Passport and Primavera scheduling tools, and support outage and online work periods with advanced scheduling expertise.
This position requires advanced technical knowledge, leadership, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple teams and project stakeholders.

Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to join the Nuclear or Engineering Projects team. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing detailed project schedules for online, outage, and life-cycle projects, including Enterprise Risk projects. The position involves resolving scheduling conflicts, developing out-year schedules, and ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive schedules for project activities. The Senior Project Scheduler will assist multiple project managers, interface with Passport and Primavera scheduling tools, and support outage and online work periods with advanced scheduling expertise.
This position requires advanced technical knowledge, leadership, and the ability to work independently while coordinating with multiple teams and project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project schedules, including online, outage, life-cycle, and Enterprise Risk projects.
- Maintain schedule integrity and resolve conflicts to ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Assist project managers in developing short-term and out-year schedules for projects of various sizes.
- Interface with Passport and Primavera scheduling tools, ensuring accurate and timely schedule updates.
- Apply advanced scheduling methodologies based on industry best practices.
- Support project scheduling for biennial refueling outages and online work periods.
- Coordinate with Operations and other disciplines to determine scope, critical path analysis, and resource allocation.
- Lead schedule review meetings, post-work critiques, and interface between work groups.
- Prepare and analyze reports using Crystal Reports or similar SQL-based tools.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior schedulers as needed.
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 8 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management.
- Associate degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Nuclear Engineering, or Nuclear Technology and 10 years of nuclear power generation experience in operations, maintenance, engineering, or technical project management.
- High school diploma or GED and 12 years of nuclear power generation experience in a journey-level craft, qualified watch station, field engineer, or Quality Control role within operations, maintenance, engineering, or quality assurance.
- Advanced Primavera P6 scheduling (Primavera 106 Training or 4 years experience)
- Passport program and database interface experience
- Knowledge of outage and online risk management software (Paragon)
- Experience with report development tools (Crystal Reports or SQL-based tools)
- PMP or SRO Certification preferred
- U.S. Citizenship Required
- Green Badge Level 2: must complete ePHQ, full background screen, FFD testing; access to buildings and plant areas as authorized
- Schedule: 4 days x 10 hours (4/10s)
