Part-Time Nanny Northport

A warm family in Northport is seeking a highly experienced, proactive, and nurturing part-time nanny to help care for three young children, two of whom are on the autism spectrum and have limited verbal communication.

Mom is home and actively involved, making this a collaborative, team-oriented role . The children have established routines and enjoy playing and learning. The family is looking for someone confident, patient, and genuinely engaged who can jump in, take initiative, and provide loving, hands-on support.

Responsibilities:
✔️ Active play, learning, and engagement with all three children
✔️ Following established routines and providing gentle, consistent guidance
✔️ Supporting potty training and daily hygiene routines
✔️ Homework help, backpacks, and school preparation
✔️ Children's snacks, light meals, and cleanup
✔️ Helping with bath time and bedtime routines
✔️ Children's laundry and light child-related organization
✔️ Occasional school bus pickup within walking distance

✔️ Professional nanny experience with multiple children required
✔️ Experience caring for children with autism and limited verbal communication required
✔️ Must confidently manage all three children when needed
✔️ Highly proactive, organized, and able to recognize what needs attention without constant direction
✔️ Extremely reliable, punctual, and consistent
✔️ Patient, nurturing, engaging, and confident maintaining established routines
✔️ Comfortable assisting with potty training and hands-on personal care
