A warm family in Long Beach is seeking a flexible and dependable part-time nanny to care for their sweet 2-month-old son. Mom works from home, and dad is a pilot with an unpredictable schedule that changes monthly. The family is looking for someone who can adapt to their dynamic schedule and provide loving, attentive infant care—mainly on weekdays when dad travels for work.
This is a wonderful long-term opportunity for a nurturing caregiver with strong newborn experience who can be flexible with hours and comfortable working alongside a work-from-home parent.
Responsibilities:
- Full care for the baby (feeding, naps, diapering, soothing, playtime, walks)
- Maintaining clean and organized baby areas (bottles, toys, nursery)
- Following the baby’s routines and communicating daily updates with parents
- Supporting developmental milestones and gentle daily structure
- No driving required
- Light tidying related to childcare during downtime
✨ Requirements:
- Strong newborn and infant experience (knowledge of reflux care a plus)
- Warm, patient, and reliable personality
- Flexible and comfortable with changing weekly schedules
- Comfortable working alongside a work-from-home mom
- Must be nonsmoker
- Must have current TDAP and flu vaccine
- Comfortable with a friendly low-allergen Siberian cat in the home
- Long-term availability (minimum 2-year commitment preferred)
- Must be ok being paid on the books
