A wonderful family in Melville is seeking an experienced, reliable full-time nanny to care for their two young children and a newborn arriving this summer. Their current nanny, who has been with them for two years, is transitioning out due to personal reasons, and the family is eager to find a warm, long-term caregiver who can grow with them.
Both parents work full-time — mom works from home, and dad works in the city several days a week — and they are looking for a nanny who is dependable, nurturing, and confident caring for multiple young children. The family values clear communication, professionalism, and a calm, loving energy in their home.
Responsibilities:
- Daily care for two children under three years old and assistance with newborn care after June
- Handling preschool drop-offs, pickups, and coordination of the children’s schedules and activities
- Engaging the children in creative, age-appropriate activities
- Managing naps, meals, bottles, and transitions between routines
- Children’s laundry, tidying playrooms and bedrooms, washing bottles and dishes related to childcare
- Light household help (organizing children’s items, keeping shared spaces tidy)
- Occasional help with light errands if needed
- Driving required — family provides a monthly gas stipend or offers use of family car

- Strong experience with infants and toddlers (must be confident with three under five years old)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (driving required)
- Reliable, warm, and proactive personality
- Must live within 30 minutes of Melville for long-term stability
- Comfortable working alongside mom, who works from home
