Lead Cell Phone Repair Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

KB Wireless is looking for a Lead Mobile Device Repair Technician to join our growing repair shop in DeSoto, TX. This role is for an experienced technician who can handle repairs independently, lead daily workflow, and deliver top-tier customer service.

The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, and confident in both technical skills and customer interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality repairs on iPhone, Samsung, and other Android devices
• Screen replacements, battery replacements, charging ports, cameras, speakers, and buttons
• Diagnose device issues accurately and efficiently
• Complete most repairs within 30–60 minutes
• Conduct post-repair testing and quality control
• Assist with training and supporting junior technicians
• Open and close the store as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area
• Provide clear repair explanations and pricing to customers
• Support accessory sales when appropriate

Requirements

• 1 years of mobile device repair experience (required)
• Strong experience with iPhone and Android repairs
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Comfortable handling cash and POS systems

Preferred (Not Required)

• Experience in a lead or senior technician role
• Basic soldering or micro-soldering experience
• Prior experience opening/closing a repair shop
