Our Client

A well-established regional financial institution is seeking an experienced Controller to lead their accounting and financial reporting function.

The Opportunity

Lead a team of 5-6 accounting professionals while overseeing all financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and the annual audit process. This is a critical role reporting directly to the CFO with high visibility to executive leadership.

What We're Looking For

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA designation required
• Master's degree in accounting/finance or MBA desired

Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with at least 7 years in an accounting management role
• At least 5 years of bank accounting experience required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements
• Advanced Excel skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and team development abilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines
