Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Skilled Laborer/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from residential remodeling to commercial builds, utilizing your carpentry expertise and hands-on skills. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and ready to contribute to high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to safety standards. You will be responsible for executing a variety of construction tasks that require precision, efficiency, and a strong work ethic. pay is negotiable depending on experience. From 15 a hour to 25 Or more.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and siding work with precision.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist with concrete forming, masonry, roofing, drywall installation (including plastering and stucco), and water damage restoration projects.
- Install fixtures, mold remediation components, rebar for concrete reinforcement, and metal stud framing.
- Conduct heavy lifting and assist with remodeling, flooring installation, tile laying, electrical work, plumbing, and electrical experience tasks.
- Follow safety protocols on construction sites while maintaining quality standards across all phases of work.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work with a strong background in carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry, frame carpentry, or roofing.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics; ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, metal stud framing equipment, CNC machinery, and fabrication tools.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes and experience with restoration or remodeling projects is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently; physically fit for demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with the use of scaffolding, caulking techniques, fixture installation, siding work, and water damage restoration methods.
- Strong communication skills; able to collaborate effectively within a team environment while adhering to safety regulations.
