Duties
- Coordinate all aspects of collision repair operations, from vehicle intake to final delivery, ensuring timely completion of repairs.
- Supervise and motivate technicians to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Oversee overall repairs, including scans, ADAS, proper procedures, welding, and refinishing.
- Troubleshoot issues we may run into within the repair process.
- Manage workflow to optimize productivity while maintaining strict adherence to overall quality and accuracy.
- Final quality inspection and check-off before delivery.
- Assist customers with drop off/pickups, taking initial photos and notes, estimates, and explaining repair procedures clearly and confidently.
- Monitor stock parts inventory, order supplies as needed, and ensure proper loaner vehicle maintenance and repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in the auto collision industry.
- Extensive knowledge of automotive repair including auto body repair, refinishing, mechanical systems, and suspension systems.
- Knowledge of OEM procedures and how to obtain, read, and follow through with them. We have access to Alldata
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities.
- Experience in auto estimating software (CCC and/or Mitchell) and auto service writing processes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team while fostering a positive work environment.
