Title: Forming Production Debur Station \
Department/Team: Production Team
Reports to: Production Manager
Pay Rate: Starting at $13.00/hour
MAJOR FUNCTION:
- Manage the deburring process for metal brake pad components, removing burrs and imperfections to improve safety, functionality, and surface quality.
- Ensure the availability of materials and supplies for smooth production flow.
- Regularly check equipment operation to ensure functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in the forming or deburring processes to maintain production quality and safety.
- Meet productivity goals and quality standards throughout metal forming and deburring.
- Maintain accurate records of production and deburring history
- Clean machines and tools routinely and report any major issues to the production manager.
- Carry out tasks as assigned by the production manager.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assumes other duties as assigned by the Production Manager.
PREREQUISITES:
- Knowledge of manufacturing tools, equipment, and deburring processes specific to metal components.
- At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing plant, preferably with brake pad production experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented work ethic.
- Ability to adhere to metal forming and deburring production processes.
- Ability to write clear, accurate reports.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
