You will be responsible for menu preparation, kitchen operations, and ensuring every dish delivers an exceptional dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook authentic Mexican dishes including tacos, enchiladas, burritos, salsas, and traditional specialties
- Develop and maintain recipes that reflect authentic Mexican flavors
- Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet restaurant standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Monitor food inventory and assist with ordering supplies
- Train and supervise kitchen staff when needed
- Follow all food safety and health regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mexican Chef or Line Cook specializing in Mexican cuisine
- Strong knowledge of traditional Mexican ingredients and cooking techniques
- Ability to prepare sauces, marinades, and fresh salsas from scratch
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards
