Responsible for procurement and inventory management of all FDM Packaging. Includes: packaging development, supplier selection, price and delivery negotiations and inventory management. Responsible for all packaging specifications and bill of materials. |

1. Packaging Inventory Management |
15% |
|
· Manipulate forecast and inventory data to determine contract quantities. · Establish and maintain standard costs for all packaging items. · Minimize obsolete packaging inventories. Submit volume for obsolete packaging reserve. Track and coordinate disposition. |

2. New Packaging Development and Implementation |
30% |
|
· Conduct appropriate research on potential packaging options. · Advise Brand Management on feasibility of structure, materials, plant and production time tables. · Provide cost estimates and samples of proposed items. · Coordinate with Corporate and Plant Industrial Engineering to test new items. · Establish and approve quality standards for all new packaging items. |

3. Packaging Specification Development and Systems Maintenance. |

· Development and issuance of packaging specifications for all brands. · Entry and maintenance of Cullinet Bill of Materials. · Entry and maintenance of SAP Purchasing. Includes P.O. entry and resolution on any Accounts Payable issues. · Coordination with Brand Management and Manufacturing to determine folding method, packaging placement and put up for all DS&S finished goods. · Review print quality, sticker format, fold samples and KR WMS forms. |

4. Supplier Management |

· Manage Vendor Purchased Packaging (VPP) process for all assigned brands, including price negotiation, approval of artwork and print submits and all necessary communications with supplier mills. · Packaging supplier selection for all non-VPP programs based on printing requirements. · Price and delivery negotiation. · Develop and maintain quality professional relationships with the Suppliers. · Provide performance feedback to Suppliers. · Competitively quote new packaging programs and existing programs on a periodic basis. |

5. Management of D&S Packaging Team |

· Give leadership, training and direction to Packaging Analyst. · Develop skills of direct reports and insure cross training of direct reporting positions |
