Job Description
The Detailer will be responsible for ensuring the exterior and interior of vehicles are clean and presentable. This includes washing and waxing exteriors, vacuuming interiors, cleaning upholstery and rugs, and applying revitalizers and preservation agents. Additionally, the Detailer will inspect vehicles for defects, restore their appearance, and maintain showroom and stock vehicles in a clean and organized condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs
- Applies wax to auto body and buffs surface
- Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris
- Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces using appropriate cleaning agents and devices
- Inspects vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation
- Restores appearance of engine area, rugs, and upholstery, using touch-up paint, dyes, and other materials
- Maintains showroom and stock vehicles in clean and presentable condition at all times
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Past experience detailing preferred
- Experience using a buffer and carpet extractor preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
