Job Purpose: The Electrical Assembly Technician will work in the Assembly Department installing and troubleshooting electrical components of precision drilling machines. Areas of competency will include electrical wiring, component installation, circuit troubleshooting.
Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Install electrical components of DeHoff, Eldorado, and TechniDrill precision deep-hole drilling machines and other automated equipment.
2. Debug and troubleshoot of electrical and software systems on equipment.
3. Provide sketches to supervisors of work to be performed on electrical components in other departments (welding, machine shop, etc.).
4. Set and program VFD (variable frequency drive) parameters on equipment.
5. Provide red line drawing changes for discrepancies or alterations, if needed.
6. Provide maintenance support on all equipment, machines, and the facility as required.
7. Perform daily housekeeping, keeping the work area and facility clean and organized.
8. Attend all required company meetings and job specific training.
9. Abide by all safe work policies and procedures.

1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
2. Technical Degree or combined experience and/or training in relative field.
3. Applied mathematical skills and mechanical aptitude a plus!
4. Knowledge and experience with assembly and maintenance of electrical systems and components preferred.
5. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
6. Experience with basic measuring equipment including but not limited to a multi-meter and tachometer.
7. Ability to work as a team, collaborating with peers and members of management.
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
