About the Role
Electrical Engineer
Georgetown, KY (Onsite)
12 Month Contract
Seeking a Plant Electrical Engineer to support manufacturing facility projects involving electrical power systems, equipment installation, facility upgrades, and capital project execution. This role will collaborate with contractors, equipment suppliers, maintenance teams, and engineers to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical projects from concept through installation and startup.
- Develop project scope, specifications, budgets, and schedules.
- Review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
- Evaluate industrial power distribution systems, including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, panel loading, breaker sizing, amp draw, and SCCR.
- Coordinate contractors, OEMs, skilled trades, and engineering teams.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, and facility modifications.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Track project milestones and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- 5 years of project management experience.
- Experience with industrial power distribution systems.
- Experience reviewing electrical drawings and technical documents.
- Experience developing scopes of work, bid packages, and project specifications.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Skills:

Preferred Skills
- BSEE.
- Automotive manufacturing experience.
- AutoCAD proficiency.

- NFPA 70E and OSHA knowledge.
- Experience with equipment installation and commissioning.
