Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized File Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing files, ensuring that all documents are accurately filed and easily accessible. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment. The File Clerk will also assist with various administrative tasks as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the office.
This position is in-office and candidates are required to have a valid drivers license and insurance.
Duties
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
- Sort incoming mail for distribution. Gather outgoing mail, run postage, and drop off to post office,
- Track kitchen supplies and keep area clean and tidy.
- Sort, classify, and file documents according to established procedures.
- Retrieve requested files and documents promptly to support staff and management needs.
- Assist with data entry and ensure accurate record-keeping in computerized systems.
- Assist with answering phone calls as needed and provide excellent customer service to clients and colleagues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and file management.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in compliance with company policies.
Skills
- Proficient in office procedures and practices, including filing systems and document management.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service abilities.
