KayDev Technology is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant / Desktop Engineer to support the New York State Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS) in New York City.
Responsibilities:
- Provide desktop engineering and advanced technical support for Windows 10/11 workstations.
- Manage Active Directory accounts, Group Policy, and endpoint configurations.
- Deploy Windows images and create and manage software packages.
- Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
- Troubleshoot VPN, VDI, two-factor authentication, and network printing issues.
- Support networking concepts including DHCP, VLANs, ACLs, and firewalls.
- Apply endpoint security tools, including antivirus, PKI, disk encryption, and security hardening.
- Automate tasks using PowerShell and VBScript.
- Manage tickets and queues, prioritizing by impact and urgency.
- Follow cybersecurity best practices and agency compliance requirements.
Required Experience (7 years in each):
- Desktop Engineering
- Active Directory administration and Group Policy
- Mobile Device Management (MDM)
