Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled General Sonographer who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care. In this role, you will perform general, non-echo sonography procedures for our patients. You will collaborate closely with our healthcare team and submit studies the day they are completed to radiology for review.
Responsibilities:
- Perform general, non-echo sonography procedures as requested by healthcare providers.
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate sonography equipment with precision and proficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to review images and assist in diagnosing medical conditions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Provide compassionate care and support to patients during procedures.
Requirements:
- Certification or degree in Sonography.
- Minimum of [1] years of experience as a General Sonographer.
- Proficiency in performing general, non-echo sonography procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Willingness to work minimum two mornings a month.
- Experience with abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and musculoskeletal ultrasound
- Familiarity with PACS systems and EMRs
