What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Family Advocate position at Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center?
Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center, a Nationally Accredited Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) in Summerville & Moncks Corner, SC is currently looking for a Clinical Family Advocate. The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree. The ideal candidate would have experience working in a CAC or related field. The Kay Phillips Child Advocacy Center provides a coordinated, evidence-based response to child abuse that reduces trauma and provides treatment for children and families in our community in a safe child-focused environment. The Clinical Family Advocate, is responsible for coordinating all referrals for our treatment programs. This position requires that the applicant can provide crisis management to families, triage referrals for services, schedule appointments, provide psycho-education on the dynamics of child abuse, and work collaboratively with other community agencies. In addition, this position provides intensive case management services for our problematic sexual behavior program for minors.
