Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Staff to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring food quality and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. You will be responsible for managing 10-12 inmates, ensuring food quality and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Supervise kitchen inmates in food preparation and cooking
- Coordinate and oversee food production
- Manage inventory
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
- Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry is a plus.
-Must pass a background investigation
-No domestic violence convictions
-No convictions for crimes of moral turpitude
-No pending criminal charges
-Must be available to work any schedule, to include evenings, weekends and holidays
-Highly principled ethics and moral character
-A true desire to serve and protect the public
-Must have High School diploma or GED certificate
-Must pass drug screening
-Must have a valid driver's license and means of transportation.
