Bartending/barbacking or hospitality team management experience is required.
ABOUT KAVA CULTURE
We’re a health-conscious, alcohol-free, pet-friendly ethnobotanical bar. We bring people together, build community, and honor our planet. We encourage growth and embrace the unique contributions of our tribe members.
CORE VALUES
Care for People, Plants & Planet * Connecting Communities * Cultivating Growth * Commitment to Passion
WHO YOU ARE
Fun, easy-going, outgoing, and genuinely love helping people and life. You’re smiley, confident, funny, health-conscious, and great under pressure. You love kava and plant botanicals, laugh a lot, and you’re ambitious—a connector and the life of the party. You’re calm, organized, reliable, proactive; comfortable working independently and upholding high standards; excited to build regulars and community.
This is a solo gig! You must feel confident managing the bar and its vibe during your shift.
What makes this position unique is the ability to earn as much as you’d like—and build a community around what you love. If you enjoy bartending and being social, are great at setting the atmosphere and keeping regulars happy, but are over the traditional bar scene and want an alcohol-free alternative, you’ve found the right place. If you’re looking for an outlet to express who you are, give back to others, and be part of an “Ohana” lifestyle—with real potential to grow—this job is for YOU.
Future management/partner/ownership opportunities are available for motivated and ambitious individuals!
