About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Sustainable Agriculture Groundskeeper to work in our land stewardhsip operations. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone passionate about regenerative agriculture, agroforestry, gardening, Korean Natural Farming (KNF) and advancing sustainable land management practices. This position plays an integral role in our compost production, fish-based composting, compost tea and extract brewing, anaerobic fermentation processes and all farming / gardening projects across our property.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out all phases of composting operations, including fish-waste composting, temperature monitoring, turning, curing, and quality control.
- Produce and apply compost teas, extracts and other in-house made amendments to enhance soil biology and crop health.
- Implement and refine farming / gardening inputs and practices to align with property goals.
- Maintain records of inputs, processes and outputs to ensure consistency, traceability and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with farm and grounds teams to integrate soil amendments into cropping and land-management schedules.
- Monitor soil health, plant vitality and pest/disease pressures to inform property management decisions.
- Safely operate and maintain equipment, brewers and other farm tools.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in composting, agriculture or regenerative farm operations.
- Familiarity with Korean Natural Farming (KNF).
- Understanding of soil biology, nutrient cycling and sustainable land stewardship.
- Ability to manage physical, outdoor work in varied weather conditions.
- Comfortable with fish-waste handling and fermentation processes.
- Organized, detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (not required).
Work Environment
- Outdoor, hands-on role on an active farm and regenerative campus.
- Exposure to heat, rain, composting odors and biological materials.
- Requires lifting, bending, and operating equipment.
