Professional Liability Partner

Kaufman Dolowich is seeking an experienced Partner to lead and grow its Professional Liability (E&O) practice in the Woodbury, Long Island market. This role is ideal for a client-focused attorney with strong leadership skills, deep professional liability defense experience, and a demonstrated ability to develop business and manage complex matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead and expand the Professional Liability practice in the Long Island office
• Handle complex E&O defense matters through all phases of litigation
• Develop and maintain relationships with insurers, insured professionals, brokers, and clients
• Mentor and supervise associates and staff
• Drive business development, marketing, and cross-selling initiatives
• Collaborate with firm leadership and related practice groups on strategic growth opportunities
  
  

Qualifications

• JD and admission to the New York Bar in good standing
• 10 years of professional liability defense experience
• Established book of business in the Long Island or NY metropolitan market preferred
• Strong litigation, leadership, client management, and business development skills
• Experience representing insurers and/or insured professionals preferred
