This role is responsible for receiving, identifying, organizing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial materials and equipment ranging from small hardware and electrical components to large motors and mechanical parts.
This is a hands-on position that combines warehouse operations, inventory management, customer service, and purchasing support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to communicate professionally with customers and suppliers
Responsibilities Include:
- Receive incoming inventory and materials from the customer and suppliers
- Identify, label, and accurately store inventory in designated warehouse locations
- Enter inventory data and transactions into the company ERP system
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Pull and prepare materials for customer needs and maintenance requests
- Deliver materials to customer locations on-site in a professional and timely manner
- Interact directly with customer personnel and provide excellent customer service
- Assist with sourcing replacement parts and identifying suppliers
- Request pricing from vendors and help prepare customer quotations
- Generate purchase orders to suppliers as needed
- Assist with continuous improvement of warehouse organization and inventory accuracy
