Kauffman's Lawn Service is seeking a dependable Lawn Maintenance Technician to join our growing team.

Founded in 2017, Kauffman's Lawn Service has grown from a one-person operation into a professional lawn and landscape company serving residential and commercial clients throughout Franklin County.

This position may be filled as either a Technician 1 (Entry-Level) or Technician 2 (Experienced) depending on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability.

We can teach many aspects of lawn and landscape maintenance. We cannot teach reliability, work ethic, personal responsibility, professionalism, or a positive attitude.

The ideal candidate is dependable, motivated, willing to learn, and able to work as part of a small team. We are looking for someone who shows up ready to work, stays productive throughout the day, communicates professionally, and takes pride in doing quality work.

Experience with lawn care, landscaping, farm work, construction, equipment operation, or other outdoor labor is preferred but not required.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform lawn and landscape maintenance services including mowing, trimming, edging, shrub care, mulch installation, landscape improvements, seasonal cleanups, and related duties.
• Operate and maintain lawn and landscape equipment safely and professionally.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing equipment, tools, and materials.
• Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining quality workmanship and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Typical start time: 8:00 AM
• Occasional Saturdays may be required due to weather or scheduling needs.
• Hours may vary based on season, workload, and weather conditions.
