What are the responsibilities and job description for the Farm Tour Driver - Part Time, $40.00/hour position at Kauai Coffee?
Position Summary:
Reporting to Visitor Center Manager. Primary responsibility of the position is to ensure excellent customer service and driving a 24-passenger vehicle with guests in our coffee fields in a safe manner, both on and off-road in tour setting. This position ensures all tours are conducted to Kauai Coffee standards, including safe driving practices, pleasant interactions to all people, excellent customer service, timeliness and safety.
Job Duties:
- Responsible for all aspects of tour operation, including but not limited to gear loading and unloading, safe and proper assistance to boarding paid guests, interpretation of tour/coffee information based on fact and interesting, interpretive commentary both off and on-road during the tram tour.
- Assists passenger pickup and drop-off, group safety and management, and paperwork including waivers, payments, manifest reports, and other post tour reports.
- Understands goals and objectives of Kauai Coffee Company and follows all policies and procedures to ensure success of the Company and guest experience.
- Demonstrates ability to be punctual and run tours on time and within allotted time.
- Willingness to guide any tours as assigned.
- May assist customers with information about coffee purchases and sales at Kauai Coffee Visitor Center.
- Neatly and accurately completes assigned paper documentation as requested.
- Performs other functions as required.
Qualifications/Skills/Knowledge Requirements:
- CDL Class C certified, and passenger certification, clean abstract, current DOT Physical
- CPR/1st Aid Training and TB clearance
- Must be able to sit, drive, for specified periods of time
- Demonstrates excellent customer interaction and safety-minded.
- Able to read, understand, follow instructions for correct customer engagement
- Must maintain acceptable personal hygiene, grooming, and overall appearance.
