Role Description

This is an on-site, part-time, hourly position located in Dallas, TX, for a TikTok Content Creator. The role involves creating engaging TikTok content that aligns with the Katydid brand. Responsibilities include conceptualizing and executing video ideas, filming behind-the-scenes content, showcasing products creatively, and staying informed about TikTok trends. The TikTok Content Creator will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and maintain an active social media presence.

We are looking for someone who:

• Catches trends early
• Is excessively online
• Has said “this is going to go viral” — and was right
• Understands hooks, watch time, and why people stop scrolling
• Can identify a trend and create content for it the same day

The Role

You will own TikTok content for Katydid. This is not just posting, this is creating content that performs.

• Create scroll-stopping TikTok content consistently
• Identify trends early and execute on them immediately (same-day turnaround)
• Develop original, creative content ideas
• Film try-ons, lifestyle, behind-the-scenes, and personality-driven content
• Capture attention within the first few seconds of each video
• Test content frequently and build on what performs

What We’re Looking For

We want someone who has proven they can create content that performs.

• You’ve had videos perform well and understand why
• You understand TikTok strategy, not just aesthetics
• You are comfortable on camera (bonus if you enjoy it)
• You naturally think in content ideas
• You move quickly, test often, and are open to trying new ideas
• You can act on trends immediately, not days later

You might be a strong fit if:
