Duty Days: 178 Days additional training days as needed
Wage/Hour Status: Non-Exempt

Qualifications:
College hours, high school diploma or GED
Ability to speak, understand and write professionally in English.
Ability to work productively without continual supervision
Day care experience (preferred)
Mature and sensitive individual that is able to relate well to both children and adults
Primary Purpose:
Provide care and custodianship to children during a split shift workday and during times of in-services and route driving for drivers and attendants.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direction and stewardship of the children.
- Provide logistical assistance to the children, i.e. changing soiled or wet diapers and/or clothing as required or assisting in the education of toilet training.
- Provide an educational environment consistent with state laws.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of records required by the state licensing board.
- Must comply with the 24 clock hours of annual training excluding CPR/First Aid Training as required by the state licensing board.
- Demonstrate competency, good judgment and self-control in the presence of children and when performing assigned responsibilities.
Working Conditions:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Biological exposure to bacteria and communicable diseases. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
