Senior Financial Analyst - REMOTE

SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting the Division Director and Program Managers with the performance of activities that drive efficient planning and execution of financial and budgetary objectives across various contracts within the Information Systems Solutions Division.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor and report on contract funding, burn rates, projected burn rates and other factors driving performance metrics and analysis assessments.
• Perform multiple financial activities within various finance job functions (weekly, monthly, quarterly internal and external reporting).
• Compile and review budgets using actual performance, previous budget figures, expense reports, and other data sources to control funds and provide for proper financial administration.
• Develop contract pricing proposals to include all aspects of costing – consistently display ability to create successful bid packages.
• Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
• Participate in customer meetings as required to contribute/lead financial and budgetary discussion. 
• Interpret and implement most proposal estimating, pricing documentation requirements.
• Ensure costs are allocated according to established procedures.
• Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college in Finance, Business Administration, or applicable discipline. Specific relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) to twenty (20) years of experience in a finance or accounting role
• Proficient in MS Office Suite of tools.  Strong emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experienced with financial analysis and large data sets.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance (generally, U.S. Citizenship required).

• Ability to work independently and proactively with little supervision and also must work well with others in a team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and manage workloads.
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.

WORK SCHEDULE 

Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

TRAVEL

The expected travel time is less than 25%.

DRIVING REQUIREMENTS

Must have or be able to attain a valid state driver’s license and be insurable on the company’s automobile insurance policy. Driving, with or without accommodation, may be required when traveling for training and/or short occasional amounts of local driving.  The expected driving time is less than 25%. 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is expected to be remote; however, the company reserves the right to require onsite work.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Position consists of sitting for long periods of time, bending, stooping, crouching, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds.  Frequently uses hands/fingers for manipulation of keyboard and mouse. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE

• Pay range: $170,000 - 175,000 per year.
