Logistics Analyst

SUMMARY

Analyzes supply chain processes and recommends applicable adjustments for efficiency and inventory reduction.
 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops strategies for improving inventory, delivery, or customer services.
• Handles invoicing, electronic bills, and shipment tracking.
• Creates and maintains logistical databases and networks.
• Gathers, interprets, and uses complex data to develop processes and procedures that will optimize supply chain processes and results.
• Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

None.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Four (4) years of related experience required.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in logistic planning and execution of materials and resources.
• Must obtain and maintain any necessary security access and/or background checks.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Excellent oral and written communications skills.
• Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision, be exceedingly well organized, flexible.
• Strong organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Demonstrated ability to perform diverse duties under operating and deadline constraints.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness; monitors own work to ensure quality.

WORK SCHEDULE 

Full-time. May be required to work additional hours as needed to complete assignment or project.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is primarily performed in a professional office setting, including the normal office equipment (e.g., computer, fax machines, copier) and with a wide variety of people in differing functions, personalities, and abilities.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Frequent sitting, using hands/fingers, handling, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing; occasional walking or standing, occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE

• Pay range: $ 75,000 - $80,000/year
