Katmai Oncology Group is seeking a Front Office Manager to lead our front desk, medical records, and administrative support teams. This leadership role is vital to ensuring our clinic runs efficiently while providing exceptional patient care. What You’ll Do:
- Supervise front desk, medical records, and administrative support staff
- Oversee daily scheduling, timecards, PTO tracking, and training
- Manage accounts payable and collections reconciliation
- Troubleshoot EMR, scheduling, and telehealth software
- Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow
- Respond to patient concerns and support service excellence
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and fraud prevention policies
- Support physician call schedules, EMTALA coverage, and internal reporting
Qualifications:
- 5 years of management experience, preferably in a medical office or clinic High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Healthcare Administration preferred)
- Knowledge of EMR systems, insurance workflows, and medical office operations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with QuickBooks, daily reconciliation, and scheduling systems preferred
Work Environment:
- Office-based role with responsibilities at both Anchorage and Eagle River clinic locations
- Fast-paced setting with daily patient and provider interaction
- Occasional local travel between locations
