Katie’s Kids Learning Center is looking for a caring, dependable, and enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to join our team!
We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and wants to create a classroom where children feel safe, loved, supported, and excited to learn. Our program is play-based and inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, allowing teachers to follow children’s interests, encourage curiosity, and create meaningful learning experiences through play.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based learning experiences
- Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children and families
- Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom
- Follow classroom routines, center policies, and state licensing requirements
- Observe children and use their interests and development to guide curriculum
- Communicate professionally and positively with families and coworkers
- Maintain accurate classroom documentation and daily records
- Actively supervise children and maintain appropriate ratios at all times
- Work collaboratively with co-teachers and support staff
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and required trainings
- Help create a positive team environment and contribute to the overall success of the center

- Early childhood education coursework or credentials preferred, but not required depending on experience
