Overview
Katie's Way is seeking a compassionate, personable, and highly organized TMS Technician / Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team in El Paso, Texas.
The ideal candidate is positive, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping individuals improve their mental health. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional patient care while supporting daily clinic operations.
Candidates with prior experience as a CNA, EMT, Medical Assistant, Behavioral Health Technician, Corpsman, or other direct patient care roles are strongly encouraged to apply.

Essential Responsibilities
- Be a team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in patients' lives.
- Provide compassionate, hands-on support to patients receiving Deep Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (dTMS) treatments.
- Assist mental health providers with patient intake processes, assessments, and clinical support activities.
- Obtain and document vital signs and ensure accurate, timely, and complete medical documentation.
- Coordinate patient check-in and check-out processes, scheduling, and other front office responsibilities.
- Prepare patients for treatment sessions and provide emotional support throughout the treatment process.
- Operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain TMS equipment according to established protocols.
- Perform routine equipment checks and communicate any technical concerns promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with providers, clinical staff, patients, and family members to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training related to behavioral health and TMS treatment.
- Maintain accurate, concise, and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Protect the confidentiality of all patient, employee, company, and vendor information.
- Participate in departmental meetings, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
- Minimum of one year of direct patient care experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare, behavioral health, or medical office setting strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
Required Certifications
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Preferred Experience
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Medical Assistant (MA)
- Behavioral Health Technician
- Military Corpsman/Medic experience
- Prior experience working in mental health or behavioral healthcare settings
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to accurately obtain and document vital signs.
- Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong ability to provide emotional support and establish rapport with patients.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to learn and operate specialized TMS equipment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical record systems.
- Demonstrates professionalism, discretion, sound judgment, and confidentiality.
