Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing excellent customer service that encourages repeat visits.
- Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders, payments, and refunds seamlessly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and bar tools, following food safety regulations.
- Monitor alcohol consumption to ensure responsible serving practices and prevent over-intoxication.
- Collaborate with team members during busy hours to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
- Handle cashing out customers accurately using POS systems while managing cash handling procedures responsibly.
Experience
Candidates should bring a strong background in food service or hospitality environments, ideally with fine dining or nightclub experience. Prior bartending roles involving banquet or catering settings are highly valued. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is essential for efficient order processing. Demonstrated skills in sales, customer service, food safety, and food handling are crucial for success in this role. Basic math skills—including retail math—are necessary for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
