Kathrin's Biergarten / Brew Pub / German Restaurant in Rocklin is interviewing candidates for Line Cook position.
Key Requirements:
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook
- Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
- Flexible schedule
- Task-driven individual
Responsibilities:
- Cooking and preparing all menu items in accordance standards set by the owner (chopping vegetables, butchering/pounding meat, preparing sauces, etc.)
- Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food on the line
- Food preparation and portioning prior to service
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food (try to minimize food waste as good as possible)
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Servers voluntarily share some of their tips with the kitchen. So, you can expect some additional income through tip sharing.
