General Laborer

Entry Level

MUST HAVE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE

Must be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively

Manual dexterity to push wheelbarrow, use hand tools, operate jack hammer and form proper signs for dumping trucks

Wide range of tasks: raking asphalt, dumping trucks, operating machinery, set up and tear down traffic control, work with tools as trained, sweep and clean roads, place hot mix asphalt through the use of shovel, lute or other related tools, vehicle and equipment cleaning

Work is performed outdoors in all weather conditions, exposed to high levels of noise, and work in substances found in road construction such as grease, diesel fuel, gas and asphalt.

Must be willing to learn to operate equipment and to care for equipment (servicing and cleaning)

ASPHALT OPERATORS

Must have asphalt equipment operations, roller, paver, milling machine, bobcat.

Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record, transportation to and from work, pass a drug screening, ability to stand for long periods of time, must be 18 years of age, work as team member, able to report to work on time 6.45 am, able to follow verbal and written instructions, clarify and respond well, adhere to company policy and safety policy
