Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Territory Sales professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth within a designated territory, focusing on both new business development and maintaining existing client relationships. This role requires a strong understanding of sales processes, excellent communication skills.
Job Purpose : Jackson Hole, Wyoming is the birthplace and heart of the Kate’s Real Food brand. The Rocky Mountain Territory Sales Manager’s main goal will be to keep the spirit of Kate’s alive through local marketing activations and account sales in the Teton region as well as expanding our footprint in adjacent regions. They will be the resident expert on all things Jackson; in many ways it is through this role that our most important customers engage with our brand. The Rocky Mountain Territory Sales Manager supports the National Field Sales Manager in increasing revenue by servicing local accounts and identifying and converting new customers both in Jackson, the surrounding area, and untapped opportunities in the Mountain West in general. This is a key position for maintaining and accelerating Kate’s Real Food growth, brand awareness and recognition.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct weekly account onsite visits to build relationships, merchandise, and drive brand awareness
- Be the face of the Kate’s brand in the Jackson community to preserve Kate’s values of fueling outdoor adventures with delicious organic energy bars
- Have experience in CRM system
- Identify wholesale leads in the region and pursue sales in outdoor retailers, outfitters, bike shops, fly shops, etc.
- Offer superb, prompt customer service and communication by email, phone and in person
- Forecast/strategize sales and marketing goals around local seasonality and weather
Execute weekly deliveries (2-3 hours per week) in key Jackson accounts and the surrounding area as needed Monitor sales results, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) and hold themselves accountable for achieving targets and communicating results to the sales manager.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with KRF Sales
- Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times
- Other projects/duties as assigned
Travel: 100% local travel
Qualifications:
- Experience developing, evaluating, managing, and growing sales.
- A result driven, energetic, confident personality with excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to lift at least 25lbs.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Compensation:
- Base annual salary: $85k
- Health benefits after 90 days
- 401k package available (no match)
- PTO: 3-weeks annually 6 annual holidays 2 floating holidays
- Expense reimbursement for approved expenditures
- Mileage: Reimbursed at current IRS reimbursement rate
- Compensation package is subject to change based on yearly evaluations
