Dog Walker
What We Offer:
- Competitive pay: $21 - $33 per hour plus tips. Earning potential can be up to $2000 to $3000 a month, with higher earning potential based on availability.
- 30-minute visits start at $15 per 30- minute visit, increasing to $16 within your first year. Most staff average $21-$33 per hour plus tip.

Responsibilities:
- Enter the homes of clients and visit with their pets for varying lengths of time (usually 20- 60 minutes each)
- Walk pets as requested
- Feed pets as requested
- Check that pets have ample, clean water supply and refill as necessary
- Patrol homes for accidents or damage caused by pets in the absence of their owners
- Clean any accidents or damage discovered in homes of our clients
- Have the ability to communicate effectively with Kate's K9 team members and clients, by returning emails, phone calls and text messages promptly.
- Be 100% reliable (our pet sitters do their best to cover in cases of emergencies, but this is not a job where "calling out sick" is tolerated, as the pets in your care depend on you.
- Ensure a safe and positive environment while walking dogs.
- Provide thorough and attentive care for cats and other small pets such as guinea pigs, gerbils, and hamsters.
- Perform house-sitting duties upon client request.
- Transport pets when needed.
- Have full availability during the day, evenings, weekends, and holidays is preferred.
- Adapt to varying client demands with a flexible schedule just as last minute requests.
Requirements
- Must have your own reliable mode of transportation to perform the duties and responsibilities associated with this role
- Must have your own reliable smartphone with internet access and data plan
- Must be extremely detail oriented
- Able to follow detailed instructions
- Must be responsible, reliable, and dependable
- Must be timely and punctual
- Must be able to self-manage
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be compassionate about animals
- Must feel comfortable working with and interacting with both small and large animals
- Must be willing to walk and drive in all weather conditions
- Must be able to submit criminal background check
