Responsibilities
- Perform routine single-plex and multiplex IHC using the Leica Bond Rx platform.
- Conduct IHC to support target validation and drug development studies.
- Gain exposure and training in multiplex IHC using the Lumiphores COMET platform.
- Maintain and document sample data using Sample Manager and Dream Path systems.
- Collaborate with study pathologists, scientists, and cross-functional teams.
- Follow established laboratory protocols and documentation standards.
- Troubleshoot and optimize IHC protocols to ensure high-quality data.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently and deliver timely, accurate results.
- Adhere to laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures.
- B.S./B.A. degree in Biology, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, OneNote, Word, PowerPoint).
- QIHC (Qualification in Immunohistochemistry) certification preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge of the Leica Bond Rx IHC platform.
- 35 years of experience in a histology or pathology laboratory.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot IHC protocols and interpret results.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated, analytical, and innovative thinker.
- Commitment to producing high-quality scientific results.
- Continuous standing for extended periods (over 2 hours per 8-hour day).
- Routine handling of laboratory chemicals.
