Roles & Responsibilities
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in process control engineering within a refinery or petrochemical environment.
- Proficiency with DCS, PLC, and APC systems (Client). (Will try others if they have strong AB and industry experience with process controls like Emerson, Yokogawa and Siemens.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ISA, API) and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with advanced process modelling and simulation tools.
- Knowledge of machine learning or data analytics applications in process control.
- Keys: This is Process Controls, so no robotics etc., they mainly use Client, that is a MUST, some/little Emerson DELTAV, nice to have not needed and need strong Allen Bradley (not scratch stuff, all pre-existing code).
- Must Have Recent Client DCS Experience. Most of that would be the Experion as that is now what most of their systems are in the plant.
