The Dispensing Technician Level 1 is responsible for accurately dispensing raw materials, including liquids, powders (hazardous and non-hazardous), and acids/bases, under cGMP conditions to support the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins (API). The role requires strict adherence to procedures, proper documentation, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards in a controlled cleanroom environment.

The Dispensing Technician Level 1 is responsible for accurately dispensing raw materials, including liquids, powders (hazardous and non-hazardous), and acids/bases, under cGMP conditions to support the manufacturing of therapeutic proteins (API). The role requires strict adherence to procedures, proper documentation, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards in a controlled cleanroom environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform dispensing and weighing of raw materials following cGMP guidelines.
- Handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials with proper safety precautions.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and execute process recipes accurately.
- Perform basic lab tasks such as pH, conductivity testing, and sampling.
- Maintain aseptic techniques and prevent cross-contamination.
- Operate, clean, and sanitize dispensing equipment as per schedule.
- Complete and review documentation in compliance with GDP and cGMP standards.
- Conduct peer/first-level reviews of dispensing orders after qualification.
- Prepare, transport, and track materials using physical and electronic systems.
- Participate in safety inspections and report observations.
- Attend shift handovers, meetings, and support team projects.
- Perform additional duties to support the Logistics Team as required.
- Associate's Degree and/or equivalent relevant experience.
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn cGMP and cleanroom practices.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with laboratory practices and documentation systems is preferred.
