The Optometric Technician provides clinical and administrative support to the Optometrist and eye care team to ensure patients receive efficient, accurate, and compassionate care. The technician is responsible for preparing patients for examinations and supporting overall clinic operations. The Optometric Technician is expected to become familiar with and develop competency in designated Optician responsibilities. Responsibilities may include assisting with frame selection, taking basic optical measurements, assisting with eyewear dispensing, adjustments and minor repairs.
