We are currently accepting applications for a: Appraisal Specialist, in Houlton
This position is eligible for a base hourly rate of $18.36 to $27.54 per hour. Placement within the range is determined by factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and geographic location.
Responsibilities include:
- Completing residential and commercial evaluations
- Reviewing evaluations and appraisals and maintain database
- Ordering commercial appraisals
- Ensure compliance with Appraisal Policy and Regulatory Guidance
- Monitoring appraiser performance
- Work with Appraisal Department Manager to resolve appraisal or evaluation deficiencies and determine environmental risk
- Maintain excellent customer service
Qualifications include:
- 1-3 years appraisal review &/or credit analysis experience in a banking environment preferred, but will train the right individual
- Understanding of accounting concepts and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently
