Kata Solution is leading the search on behalf of a top manufacturing employer in the Scottsboro, Alabama area. This organization serves demanding automotive customers and operates in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment. They are seeking an Operations Manager who can lead across multiple sites, drive quality performance, and consistently deliver to customer schedules—particularly within Tier 1 automotive line sequencing requirements.
Position Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations across multiple manufacturing sites with a strong focus on quality, delivery, and execution discipline. This role partners closely with plant leadership, quality, production control, and supply chain to resolve issues quickly, improve performance, and ensure customer commitments are met. The ideal candidate has proven experience in Tier 1 automotive environments, including line sequencing and just-in-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational leadership across multiple manufacturing sites
- Drive resolution of quality issues through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and sustained improvements
- Ensure consistent on-time delivery performance to meet customer and line sequencing requirements
- Lead and support Tier 1 automotive line sequencing operations and execution
- Partner with Production Control, Quality, and Supply Chain to maintain schedule integrity and material flow
- Identify and remove operational constraints impacting quality, throughput, or delivery
- Establish and monitor key performance metrics related to safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and stabilize operations
- Coach and develop site leadership and operations teams to drive accountability and results
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience solving quality issues and improving on-time delivery performance
- Direct experience in Tier 1 automotive manufacturing, including line sequencing and just-in-time delivery
- Experience leading across multiple sites or facilities
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to drive issues to closure
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting OEM or Tier 1 automotive customers
- Background in high-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments
- Experience working cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, and Production Control

Pay: $90, $100,000.00 per year
