What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yoga Teacher position at Kat's Yoga Lab?
Our exceptional team is looking for a yoga instructor to join us in providing yoga techniques to our patients with anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
This is a contract, 1099 position, working 4-8 hours per week.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Design and teach group yoga sessions for patients
- Design and deliver routines for clients of all ability levels and provide multi-level modifications.
- Document group participation in the session
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude.
- Create a safe exercise environment for all class participants by following site-specific safety and injury prevention procedures.
- Complete assigned annual compliance training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Preferably trained in Trauma Informed Yoga
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A bachelor’s degree in a related health and fitness field is preferred.
- Completion of a vocational training or Yoga Instruction Certification – RYT200 (Registered Yoga Teacher) required.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Outgoing personality with a strong desire to provide exceptional client service
